JOE PASQUALE TALKS MAYAN APOCALYPSE IN SHANKLIN

Funnyman Joe Pasquale is coming to Shanklin this summer to discuss the mysteries of the Mayan calendar as part of a new UK tour.

Pasquale – who is currently acting in the role of Tony Grimsdyke in the new touring production of ‘Dr In The House’ – will hit the Shanklin Theatre on August 6th, as part of his ‘Joe Pasquale Live!’ show.

According to iwcp.co.uk, the former ‘I’m a Celebrity’ jungle-king will draw elements of the Mayan prophecy – which suggests that the world will end on December 21st this year – into his show.

Should that be true, then fans might want to make sure they book themselves into Isle of Wight hotels to catch the comedian’s final hurrah. Following Shanklin’s opening night of the tour, Pasquale will move onto a bevy of other top seaside destinations in the South; no doubt enjoying the summer sun himself.

Over the course of three weeks, he is due to perform in Weston-Super-Mare, Weymouth, Skegness, Yarmouth, Clacton, Worthing and Southend.

However, when speaking to shieldsgazette.com about his latest role, Pasquale admitted that it’s nice to slow things down sometimes.

“Normally, when I’m touring, I just do one night and then move on, so it’s great to do week-long runs, and get a chance to put my feet up and have a look around,” he said. “What’s great about this job is that I get to do so many different things.”
