Sandown Illuminated Carnival

Cycle Isle of Wight Randonnée

A popular mass-participation cycling event circling the island. It attracts riders of all abilities and brings strong demand from participants and supporters staying across the Isle of Wight.  

Isle of Wight Tango Weekend

Ilfracombe Carnival

24 August 2025 18:00 – 21:00

The Carnival Procession – An eclectic mix of floats and walking groups will keep you entertained for an evening. This spectacular event raises monies for local charities and is a fun night for all the family. From 5pm there will be music, stalls and food vendors on the Seafront.

Road closure is at 17.30 prompt with the parade starting at 6pm.

The Parade leaves Hillsborough (Swimming Pool) car park, travels along Hillsborough Road, Portland Street, High Street, Church Street, turns right at Wilder Road along the Seafront, down St James Place arriving on Broad Street where it dissembles.

The £2000 proceeds from 2024 street collection were donated equally to Ilfracombe Food Bank & Belles Place.
